レンタル。
ホラー映画。黒人さんのポスターで気になってた作品。先日、パラサイトを見たばかりで、その映画感想に“ポン・ジュノ監督がパンフレットでusの事を言ってた”と書いたばかりなのに、恐縮です。 いや、usのレンタル自体は、旦那さんがなんでかしてきた。パラサイトのパンフレットを、私の様に読んだからではない。 怖い。 usと言う‘私達’に出会う前よりも、地下に住んでる人達が居る様な表現の冒頭が、怖い。
さて、主人公“達”は家族だが、家族と言うか、冒頭は女の子がミラーハウスに入って行くところから始まる。 それが、後に、家族の中のお母さんの過去と、分かる。 そんな事、分からないから、最初は、女の子がふと、入った夜の遊園地みたいな処のミラーハウスで出逢った、もう1人の自分なんだろうな？と言う始まりかたでした。 場面変わって、家族でバカンスを楽しもうと出掛ける家族。
もう、ノリノリで行くし、リゾート地に着いたら、‘平和’そのもの。ただ、ビーチで息子が行方不明になった？と言う処から、恐怖の始まりだった…。 息子は、トイレに行っただけだった。母の記憶が朧げに蘇り、ミラーハウスの事がチラホラしたと思った。別荘に帰り、夜を迎えると、知らない4人が外で立っていた。
母親は怖がり、父親は武器を片手に余裕を見せる。だが、虚しく、父親は一蹴される。 対面を果たした4人は何と………。 その内、姉弟、母親と逃げるが、それも次々、追われて行く。攻防出来たり、逃げたりを、繰り返し、遂に家族パワー炸裂！大逆転するが…。逃げ込んだ先の、パリピ家族には、既に！
そして、また、母親は捕まり、此処で、母親の、あの、またミラーハウスの回想シーン。 謎が、少しずつ解け、何故、ヤツらが地上に出てきたか、分かってきた。 ヤツらは、地上の人間にソックリの、地底に住む人々。大量のウサギとその、人間達が、怖さを増す背景。 母とソックリさんとの対決シーンでは、幼い頃習っていたバレーシーンの戦いかたも、出てくる。激しいバトル！
そして、最終決着は、意外な人物！逃げ出せないと思える程の、地底からの人々から、車で逃げ出そうとする。此れで、終わり？と言う時に！息子のアイディアで、解決が。 そして、最後は、お決まりの様な、B級映画のパターン。まさか…そんな…勝利したのでは？？？と、思わせるが、まぁ、B級映画にありがち。
星は2.5。最後まで、ドキドキもさせられたし、地底人だったと言う設定よりは、実は、貧困層の問題で、そう言った暴動自体は起こり得るとか、そう言った暗示、社会問題が本命な訳だろうけど。やはり、終わりかた…かな。 まぁ、ホラー映画らしいけどね。 飽きさせない点で言えば、星3辺りなのかなとは、思うけれども。 2019年のホラーでは、きっと、面白かったほうだろうな。

A star is 2.5.
